The most valuable thing I learned was that translating science into practice means nothing when you don't consider how people will engage with the intervention you designed.

Alumna Health Psychology
During my time at Erasmus, I completed the coursework for both the Brain & Cognition and the Health Psychology track of the Psychology Master's. The Health Psychology track was definitely more practical, yet I still gained a good theoretical understanding of human health behaviour. What surprised me was that there was a lot of room for creativity. I got to apply the theoretical knowledge that I gained to real cases. The most valuable thing I learned was that translating science into practice means nothing when you don't consider how people will engage with the intervention you designed.
That's what makes this track stand out. It is not just theory; the real impact of our present-day (digital) environment is also considered throughout the programme. Human health behaviour is complex, but this programme equips you with the theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and understanding of our (digital) environment you need to incite meaningful behavioural changes.
