On the 15th of February Jeroen van Haaren and Erik Braun present their contribution to the Economic Outlook Rotterdam 2018, which they’ve written together with Frank van Oort (Erasmus School of Economics) and Mathieu Steijn (Utrecht University). They show that Rotterdam has transformed into a destination for tourism. No longer is Rotterdam the cold, business like city. It has become a destination where visitors can enjoy public space.
