Introduction

Due to a temporary gap in our HR team, we are looking for an HR Advisor to support the team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will work closely with other members of the HR team, including an HR Advisor and an HR Officer.

In this role, you will play a key role in a salary re-benchmarking process and the review of job architecture within RSM BV. You will work closely with the HR team to ensure a structured and well-informed approach. Depending on your profile and availability, the role can be complemented with a limited number of broader HR advisory activities.

This is a hands-on role for an HR professional who enjoys responsibility, collaboration and contributing to meaningful people initiatives in a dynamic, international environment.

Given the team setup and scope of the role, we have a preference for candidates available for temporary employment. Freelance candidates are welcome to apply; however, please note that we work with fixed, project-based fees rather than open-ended hourly arrangements. We kindly ask you to include your proposed project fee and availability in your application.

Job description

You will support managers and employees across the organisation on a range of HR topics. In addition, you will contribute to HR projects and may take the lead on specific initiatives, depending on priorities.

Your daily activities and responsibilities include:

  • Playing a key role in the salary re-benchmarking process and review of job architecture
  • Providing HR advisory support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding and general employee queries
  • Contributing to the Performance & Development cycle
  • Supporting improvements in HR processes, policies and internal documentation
  • Supporting HR projects and system-related work where relevant; including initiatives related to L&D and organisational development

Job requirements

In order to be successful in this role, you:

  • Have solid HR experience, gained through relevant education and work experience
  • Have an affinity with compensation, reward or job structuring topics (hands-on experience is a plus, not a requirement)
  • Have approximately 3–5 years’ experience in a broad HR role
  • Are analytically strong and comfortable working with data and translating insights into practical recommendations
  • Are able to work independently and structure your own work within a defined scope
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in English (Dutch is a plus)
  • Handle confidential information with care and professionalism

Preferably you also have:

  • Experience in an international or academic environment.
  • Experience working with HR systems (such as NMBRS, CultureAmp) and HR data

This role is well suited to an HR professional who enjoys contributing, taking responsibility and leading initiatives when appropriate, without seeking a permanent leadership position.

What else you need to know:

A statement of good behaviour (VOG) is part of our recruitment process and required to submit before the start date of your employment.

Employment conditions and benefits

We offer an ambitious, international and dynamic environment, in which we compete with the top business schools in Europe. You will be part of a close, innovation-driven team on a vibrant university campus. Your ambition and personal drive will be greatly valued and we invest in personal development. We make sure you feel good about yourself, that you enjoy your work and that you grow in your profession.

You will also get:

  • A salary between € 4.200 - € 4.700 gross per month on fulltime basis (ex. holiday allowance), based on your education, knowledge and work experience
  • 25 holidays and 12 ADV days
  • Annual 8% holiday allowance
  • Variable end of year performance bonus
  • Travel cost reimbursement and working from home allowance
  • The opportunity to participate in our collective health insurance
  • Access to all facilities on campus
  • Participation in our collective pension scheme
  • The possibility to travel with NS business card
