You play a key role in managing this relationship, ensuring that EDIS delivers according to the agreed service levels, and that faculty needs are clearly articulated and pursued.

In addition to your operational responsibilities, you act as a sparring partner to the director of RSM Digitalisation & Information Services. You help translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives and serve as a liaison between long-term goals and operational delivery. Working closely with both academic and professional services teams, you contribute to a culture of transparency, collaboration and continuous service improvement.

Job requirements

Qualifications for this role include the following:

  • A bachelor or master degree (HBO or WO), preferably in Business Administration, Information Management or a related field
  • At least five years of relevant experience in IT demand management, contract management or vendor coordination
  • Strong understanding of IT procurement processes and supplier governance
  • Proven experience working at the interface between business and IT, ideally within a complex or academic environment
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as BiSL, ASL and ITIL; certification is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Dutch (CEFR level C1)
  • Able to manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external IT suppliers, particularly in a federated IT context
  • A proactive, structured and analytical mindset, with a focus on service delivery, stakeholder satisfaction and continuous improvement
  • Experience or affinity with leading a small team or direct reports
  • Comfortable acting as a sparring partner on strategic topics while staying grounded in operational realities.
