With our sustainable mobility policy, we want to motivate employees to make a conscious choice when travelling to campus, by taking the car less frequently and choosing for public transport or cycling.
Different options
You can apply for an NS Business Card for the days that you work at the campus. Woudestein campus is easily accessible by public transport.
If you purchase a bicycle, e-bike or electric scooter for (part of) your commute, EUR will reimburse half of the purchase price up to a set maximum.
There are 22 charging points for electric cars at the Plaza Parking at Woudestein campus.
From 2024 onwards, employees will no longer have free parking days. The parking day rate for employees has also increased by 0.50 cents since then. By doing so, we hope that employees will opt for public transport or cycling more often.

Business trips
Since the largest percentage of EUR's CO2 emissions comes from business flights, we have adjusted the policy for business travel.
- All business trips under 700 kilometres and a travel time of up to 8 hours from Rotterdam CS has to be done by train.
- If you choose to travel by plane for journeys that are more than 700 kilometres (and take longer than 8 hours), the CO2 emissions must be compensated.
