Introduction

As an Admissions Officer on a 6-month temporary assignment covering maternity leave, you will play a key role in delivering a smooth, accurate, and welcoming admissions process - from first contact to enrolment. You will work closely with Admissions Managers, Marketing Officers, and colleagues from other departments, while engaging directly with prospects, applicants, and students. Reporting to the Director of Recruitment and Admissions, you will help deliver our admissions strategy and provide an outstanding candidate experience.

Job description
You will manage admissions for our MBA programmes, supporting candidates from initial enquiry to programme registration. Your role includes reviewing applications, assessing academic credentials (including international qualifications), coordinating all admissions stages, issuing offers and scholarship decisions, and keeping accurate records.
In addition, you will plan, execute, and represent RSM at (virtual) recruitment and admissions events, collaborating with colleagues to ensure a seamless process. You will also prepare reports and carry out admissions data analysis to track and improve departmental performance, in turn helping us attract exceptional students in line with our mission to be a force for positive change.
Finally, you will be responsible for the admissions procedures for our MBA programmes and you will support candidates throughout their application process all the way to their registration to the programme.
Your daily activities and responsibilities include:
- Support the application process by evaluating and processing applications.
- Arrange admissions interviews and other assessments.
- Create and send offer and scholarship letters to successful candidates.
- Process registrations and withdrawals in the CRM system.
- Assist candidates and students via email and phone in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate internally with departments to ensure a smooth admissions process.
- Contribute to planning and delivering (virtual) admissions events.
- Perform analyses and prepare reports, statistics, and presentations to support departmental goals
Job requirements
To be successful in this position, you will need to have the following knowledge, expertise or skills.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience.
- Minimum of 2 year experience in a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and preferably Dutch (not required).
- High level of accuracy and an eye for detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Cultural awareness and sensitivity.
- Experience in providing outstanding levels of customer service, preferably with high-end products or services.
- Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Hands-on, flexible and adaptive attitude.
Preferably you also have:
- Experience with MS Office and database systems
- Strong administrative skills
- Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard hours when required.
