Apply for Bachelor Double bachelor BSc² in Econometrics and Economics

The application procedure for the Double bachelor programme in Econometrics and Economics consists of several steps:

  1. Assemble your application documents
  2. Register in Studielink
  3. Submit your application in the EUR Application Portal

Submitting your application is possible from 1 November 2020 until 1 April / 1 May 2021. The 1 April deadline applies to students who apply with a non-European passport. The 1 May deadline applies to all other students.

COVID-19 and application procedures

We understand that COVID-19 measures might still cause problems for applicants with regards to meeting the application requirements. We therefore advise applicants to assemble all required (certified) documents well before the application deadline, and to submit the application via Studielink and the EUR Application Portal no later than 1 April/ 1 May.

Erasmus School of Economics still only accepts a TOEFL iBT or IELTS Academic Certificate as proof of English language proficiency. Information on the TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition is available on the ETS website.

As of this year, we also accept Cambridge B2 First, C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency certificates as valid proof of English language proficiency (see Admission website for the minimum required scores).

Important information for study switchers

  • We do not offer any transfer possibilities due to our Binding Study Advice regulation. All students are only accepted in year 2 of the programme when all 60 credits (EC) in bachelor year 1 are obtained. You are welcome to apply to the first year of our programme by following the regular application procedure.
  • Students studying at Erasmus University Rotterdam, who would like to switch to the Double bachelor programme the next academic year, need to follow the regular application procedure with deadline 1 May.
