Would you like to practice, but don't have access to a piano or room to play your instrument? Then this is a good way to continue playing without having to take music lessons.
For students and employees there are two options on campus Woudestein:
Pianoroom C2-29
The room located at Theil-Building, 2d floor next to the elevator, can be used from Monday to Friday between 8:30 and 19:00hrs. The practice room can also be used by other small/ hand held instruments, but is not available for band rehearsals.
Please note:
- Keep this room and the piano tidy
- Only use it up to one hour, so others have a chance to play here as well
- Not for commercial activities or private lessons
Public grand piano
You can also play the public grand piano at the Skybridge between the Erasmus and Tinbergen Building The grand piano in the sky bridge can be played Monday to Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Due to the hoisting work, the sky bridge between the Tinbergen Building and the Erasmus Building will be out of use until 4 p.m. Once the work has been completed, Campus Security will open the sky bridge daily between 4 p.m. and 4.15 p.m. so that the grand piano can be played again. The Real Estate & Facilities department is investigating the possibility of making a grand piano available for public use at another location.
