Pre Academic Programme

At a research university, you are no longer obliged to study. You make your own choices, which is also the case in this course. However, we suggest completing the full course to increase your study success. The individual modules each have their own topic and they make up for a coherent course which tackle all requirements for success.

Your assignments will not be graded. However, we will examine whether you prepared for the group meetings by completing the individual assignments. These assignments are a valuable investment in yourself, since they will increase your chances of study success.

You will not receive credits (ECTS) for participating in this programme. To start well prepared, we recommend taking part. It is a valuable investment in yourself. Also, you will receive a certificate of attendance after completing the course, which is a great boost to your CV. To determine whether you’ll receive this certificate, we examine your effort in this programme through individual and group assignments.

This course is all about personal leadership and the preparation of your student life. We’ll teach you key elements to take your future into your own hands and increase your study success. A small part of this programme is about your specific bachelor programme, and the larger part is about you, with tips and tricks to study successfully.

In this course, personal leadership and a good preparation into your study time at EUR have a main focus. Besides essential study skills and the theory behind an effective study routine, you’ll learn how to deploy your network to create success. You’ll learn which role your own background plays in study success and how to define your own path.
