Student Mobility offers two services to support your journey: a student travel package and discounted train e-tickets.
1. Student Mobility Pass, ISIC Student ID and Bike
Get a discounted student travel pass, a global student ID and bike options through Student Mobility.
Student Mobility creates a personalized discount profile and connects it to your OV travel product, helping international students travel more easily across the Netherlands.
Choose the Student Mobility package that suits you best:
- Student Mobility OV-pass.
- ISIC Student ID.
- Bike.
- Combined package.
Order before arrival via Student Mobility and start your stay in the Netherlands fully prepared.
You can collect your product during the international welcome day or one of the One-stop-shop days, or have it delivered to your address.
OV-chipkaart
The OV-chipkaart is the Dutch public transport card used to check in and out on trains, buses, trams and metros.
The Netherlands is gradually switching to OVpay, the new way of checking in and out with a debit card, credit card, mobile phone or the new OV-pas.
Some travelers can already use OVpay, but others still need an OV-chipkaart for certain travel products, such as a student travel product or subscription.
A personal OV-chipkaart is registered in your name and is valid for five years.
2. Discounted train E-Tickets for Domestic and European travel
