Erasmus Verbindt (EV) is collaborating with the Pauluskerk (PK) and Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) on a knowledge network focusing on homelessness. This links academic research to social needs, enabling us to work together to build a more equitable city.
Why the Pauluskerk?
In Rotterdam, the Pauluskerk has been an important place for people without shelter or residence permits for decades. Drawing inspiration form practical knowledge, students and researchers work together with stakeholders on current issues and potential solutions.
How does the collaboration work?
EUR requests for collaboration submitted via EV. This ensures that the collaboration remains clear and manageable for the Pauluskerk and that we make good agreements that lead to a sustainable partnership.

Knowledge sharing and impact
Research results are presented at the Pauluskerk every year. Students, researches, social partners and visitors to the Pauluskerk are present at these presentations. The results are made available in an accessible form, so that the knowledge becomes practically usable and visibly contributes to social impact.
