The research group Human Conditions warmly invites all faculty colleagues and students to a special open edition of its regular research theme meeting.
On Monday, 16 February, from 15:30 to 17:00, we will welcome Daniel Loick (University of Amsterdam) in De Glasbak, who will present
“Surplus Populations – A Conjunctural Reading.”
Human Conditions brings together philosophical research on subjectivity, responsibility, and agency in the context of contemporary social, ecological, and technological crises. Our work spans critical theory, philosophical anthropology, feminism, anticolonial thought, philosophy of technology, and aesthetics, with a strong commitment to public engagement and transdisciplinary exchange.
This meeting offers an opportunity to engage with current debates in political and social philosophy and to connect them to broader questions of human self-understanding today.
All interested students and colleagues are very welcome.
