As of 26 January 2026 Julien Kloeg will join the Young Erasmus Academy (YEA) of Erasmus University Rotterdam. The Erasmus School of Philosophy warmly congratulates Julien Kloeg on his appointment as a member of the YEA.
The Young Erasmus Academy
The Young Erasmus Academy is a diverse group of talented early- and mid-career scholars from all faculties of Erasmus University Rotterdam, including Erasmus MC. Its members actively contribute to the development and dissemination of perspectives on research, education, societal impact, and university policy. YEA also serves as an advisory body to the Executive Board and focuses on strengthening interdisciplinary research, increasing societal impact in the Rotterdam region, and enhancing the future sustainability of the university.

Bio
Julien Kloeg is Assistant Professor of Social Philosophy at the Erasmus School of Philosophy. His research lies at the intersection of philosophical anthropology, political theory, and the philosophy of education. He is Managing Editor of the International Yearbook of Philosophical Anthropology and serves as ‘Generalsekretär’ of the Helmuth Plessner Gesellschaft. At ESPhil, he is part of the Human Conditions research theme.
