Student Assistant to assist in the implementation of the Digital Society SSH-Breed theme

Erasmus School of Philosophy is looking for a student assistant to assist in the implementation of the Digital Society SSH-Breed theme at ESPhil. The successful applicant’s main task will be helping Dr Giulia Napolitano and Lena Voorbergen with the organization of a workshop.

The ideal applicant will have:

Necessary qualifications

  • A background in Philosophy;
  • ability to work autonomously and efficiently to meet deadlines and juggle multiple tasks;
  • excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken;

Desirable qualifications

  • Some graphic design skills (to make a poster)
  • demonstrable experience in and proven ability to liaise with external speakers;
  • proven ability to support conference and workshop organization

Terms and conditions
The successful candidate is expected to start on February 1st, 2024. A four-month contract with Erasmus University will be offered. You will be appointed for 4 hours a week (0.1 fte). Your working hours are flexible and your lectures and tutorials will be taken into account. 

The following remuneration applies:
2nd year student: € 292,50  
3rd year student: € 295,10  
4th year student: € 298,10
