During this unique evening, scientists and artists bring the brain to life with music, stand-up comedy and personal stories. Don't expect traditional lectures, but rather a mix of art and neuroscience that shows how creative, surprising, and human our brains are. Whether you come for the scientific insights, the art, or just the fun, Beer, Brain, and Art! promises to be a special evening focused on the wonders of the brain.
Brain Awareness Week (BAW) is a global initiative that has been raising awareness of the importance of brain research among the general public for 25 years. In Rotterdam, it is led by Dr Anderson Mora Cortes (EUC). BAW is celebrated every year in the third week of March in more than 100 countries, involving universities, hospitals, NGOs, colleges and private organisations.
