Learn to make botanical illustrations from flowers and plants with pen and ink.
In this workshop you will learn the different techniques for botanical drawings; from sketching to a final drawing in watercolour or with fine liners with the use of fresh flowers and plants.
What can you expect?
• brief lesson on botany and anatomy of plants (includes fresh and dry references)
• pencil sketching techniques: drawing outlines, internal structures, shading
• pen and ink illustrating exercises, lines and stippling
• building confidence in observation and creative skills
• creating a final botanical illustration with the use of your imagination and creativity
For whom?
For EUR students who like to draw, but the workshop is beginner friendly.
What do you bring?
Nothing; we provide flowers/plants, paper, pens etc.
