About our theme: From eco-anxiety to resilience
Ever heard of climate anxiety? If you haven’t, you’ve probably felt it. Most of our newsfeeds are overwhelmed with devastating disasters and ominous forecasts. Naturally, these kinds of stories invoke such delightful emotions as grief, fear and panic. In all that darkness, positive stories about climate developments and our own human resilience tend to go unnoticed.
Structure
During the first instalment of our Community Cafe, our expert panel will share the details of their own community-centric sustainability initiatives and explore the incredible possibilities of engaging with diverse societal actors to combat climate disasters and environmental degradation.
Next, we will open the floor to your questions. Climate change is a group project, and we’re going to need innovative solutions to tackle it together. At the end of the evening, we want you to walk away with a sense of hope, inspiration, and, most importantly, community – because no one is in this alone.
