On June 22nd, 2021, the Erasmus Dance Society will present their first annual Dance Showcase held at the Erasmus Paviljoen.
Their association's members and teachers created this performance to feature 35 dancers mainly from the Hip Hop, High Heels, and Contemporary Show Teams.
The theme of this year’s showcase is “Connection.” During a year of unprecedented separation, EDS wants to use this performance to explore the different ways that we connect, tapping the medium of dance to communicate what words often fail to. In creating this, the members of each show team had the opportunity to form new and deeper connections with their fellow dancers, as well as with themselves and their own bodies.
Though the entire performance will be livestreamed, a select number of in-person tickets can be won through a series of EDS giveaways. These giveaways will be announced through EDS’s socials, so keep an eye on their Facebook or Instagram.
