Globally connected, locally embedded. Erasmus University Rotterdam wants to deepen and strengthen its collaboration with the region. Together, we identify societal issues and explore how we as EUR can contribute to addressing them. EUR strives to be an Engaged University. This is at the heart of our Strategy 2030. What do we mean by that? And how do we ensure inclusive engagement? We will be talking about this on November 25th!

Together with city and regional partners, we can explore how we build relationships, co-create knowledge, and create meaningful connections. IDEA Center (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Access Center) and UNIC (a partnership of ten universities across Europe, of which EUR is coordinator and partner) invite you to an engaging afternoon where we will explore what inclusive engagement truly means.
The event Fostering Inclusive Engagement creates space for dialogue between the EUR community and city and regional residents and partners, for example through the UNIC CityLab initiative, to reflect on how universities can work collaboratively to address societal challenges in superdiverse cities like Rotterdam. Through thought-provoking insights, real-life examples, and reflective dialogue, we will think about how engagement can be more inclusive in our internal and external collaborations, and across education and research. From strategic perspectives to grassroots practices, we will talk about how inclusive engagement is being shaped and invite you to be part of the conversation.
