Can we really multitask? What happens in your brain when you try to focus on several things at once? In this interactive SG Playground, PhD student Maurits Unkel (Erasmus MC) combines juggling, storytelling, and neuroscience to explore how attention, learning, and coordination work.

Through a juggling workshop, Maurits will show how our brains process information, why multitasking is often harder than we think, and how learning new skills can literally reshape the brain. Did you know that juggling is known to strengthen communication between the brain’s left and right hemispheres?
After the storytelling performance, those who are curious can try juggling themselves and experience firsthand what it teaches us about concentration, coordination, and the remarkable adaptability of the brain.
In collaboration with Circus Rotjeknor.
