The London Philharmonic Orchestra is coming to Rotterdam with a symphonic program that both explodes with energy and draws you into moments of total stillness. Under the baton of Edward Gardner, with star pianist Alice Sara Ott as soloist, you’ll experience three very different musical worlds:
- Rachmaninov – Early Symphony: the voice of a young composer finding his style – emotional, dramatic, and intense.
- Beethoven – Piano Concerto No. 4: intimate, poetic, and surprisingly fragile. A deep musical conversation between piano and orchestra.
- Sibelius – Symphony No. 5: a slowly unfolding, overwhelming soundscape that feels like nature, motion, and film music in one.
