After the great success of Meet the Professor 2024, we will organise another edition of Meet the Professor on 26 June 2025. During this day, professors from EUR will take to the city on bicycles to introduce children at various primary schools to the work and research of a professor.
Introduction to science
In the weeks leading up to the professor's visit, the children are given so-called quests in class that introduce them to the professor coming to their class. In this way, the children are introduced to science according to the principles of inquiry-based learning.
Meeting with a professor
The pupils engage in a discussion with the professor about the professor's field of study. In the preparation, the pupils have been able to think of enough curious questions for the professor to answer in this meeting. The children will amaze the professor with their knowledge and skills!
