How do you observe the brain when it becomes invisibly small? In this concluding Night Talk, we delve into the world of nanoscale brain research.
During this final Night Talk, Dr Dimphna Meijer, head of the Quantitative Neurobiology Laboratory at TU Delft, will take you on a journey through the methods and techniques used to study the brain at the nanoscale. She will show how quantitative and nanobiological approaches are yielding new insights into the structure and functioning of the brain. An inspiring conclusion for anyone curious about the frontiers of modern neuroscience.
Brain Awareness Week (BAW) is a global initiative that has been raising awareness of the importance of brain research among the general public for 25 years. In Rotterdam, it is led by Dr Anderson Mora Cortes (EUC). BAW is celebrated every year in the third week of March in more than 100 countries, involving universities, hospitals, NGOs, colleges and private organisations.
