Interesting programme on explainer videos opened by Arjen van den Berg, Consul-General of the Netherlands and with NOS journalist Emil van Oers as well as digital and on-site networking.
On behalf of Erasmus University Rotterdam and the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Hong Kong, we would like to invite you to an NL alumni event on innovative journalism and explainer videos on 21 October.
Small group gatherings are allowed again in Hong Kong. This is also the reason that we have space for 15 people at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong. Do you prefer to meet fellow alumni from your home? You are also welcome to join us online.
We have an interesting programme for you starting with a word of welcome by Arjen van den Berg, the Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. We will then continue with an inspiring keynote speech by Emil van Oers. Emil is explainer on ‘NOS op 3’ and is an alumnus of the University of Groningen, Radboud University, and the University of Maastricht. He will share insights about innovative journalism and explainer video’s in the Netherlands, including his own video about the pandemic (in Dutch) which had over 5 million views on various channels.
Alumni from the following universities will participate: Erasmus University Rotterdam, Rotterdam School of Management – Erasmus University, Leiden University, University of Groningen and Utrecht University. The language spoken at the event is English.
