The placenta accreta spectrum is a disorder characterized by abnormal placental attachment to the uterine wall. Its incidence is rising globally, particularly in Indonesia, primarily due to the increasing rate of cesarean sections, which is a major risk factor. This thesis aims to highlight the issue of placenta accreta spectrum in Indonesia, explore screening methods, the optimal management for placenta accreta spectrum in Indonesia, and predict the complexity of surgery using prenatal ultrasound.
