The documentary 'Stress to Impress’ looks at the huge pressure to perform on young people in today’s society. With discussion and meet up afterwards.

The documentary 'Stress to Impress’ looks at the huge pressure to perform on young people in today’s society. This includes high expectations, from both themselves and others, (unhealthy) social media behaviour and the constant need to strive for perfection in every aspect of their lives.

Sanne Kooiman (23) is a documentary maker. Her documentaries focus on the world of 15 – 25-year-old students and deal with topics in an informative, recognisable and fun way.

Follow-up discussion and meet up with 'The Living Room'.
The screening will be followed by a discussion moderated by Sanne Kooiman and staff from the EUR Student Counseling department and the audience.
At the end of the program you are invited to meet up with the student initiatives joined in The Living Room.
The Living Room is a collaborative effort of student initiatives focused on improving the student wellbeing, sense of community, and health of the EUR community.

Language: The documentary is Dutch spoken with English Subtitles. The discussion will be in English.
