What dilemmas and challenges do engaged researchers encounter when doing research with non-academics? As impact and engagement becomes ever more important to our university, questions rise on its authority, boundaries, and responsibilities. With this meeting, we start the discussion on the normative aspects of responsible, engaged research.

What does it take to do research with non-academics and what are the consequences? A dialogue on equivalence, ‘good’ vs ‘bad’ engagement, academic freedom, and the possible implications for individual researchers, external research partners, and EUR.
