Are you a student at Erasmus University with an impairment; like:

Are you (already) exploring job opportunities for after your graduation and/or do you have one or more of the following questions?

  • Are companies and organisations interested in applicants with an impairment?
  • Should I tell an employer about my functional impairment? And if so, when and how do I approach it?
  • What is “Doelgroepenregister”? *
  • What are the (dis)advantages of registering in the Doelgroepenregister? *
  • To what extent am I eligible for allowances? *
  • What were the experiences of former students/alumni with a functional impairment when transitioning to the labour market?
  • How did they approach it and what can I learn from their experiences?

*Only applicable for Dutch citizens

If so, this Workshop Afternoon is for you!

The EUR Student counsellors, Student psychologists and the Career advisors have joined forces to help you make the transition to the labour market. We are organising an informative workshop that answers the above questions and much more.

1:30-2:00 Arrival and reception
2:00 -2:45 Workshop 1: Laws & Regulations

3.00-3.45 Workshop 2: Do I mention my functional impairment in a job interview?

4.00-4.45 Workshop 3: Experiences of Alumni with an impairment
4.45-5.30 Networking Meet & Greet
