The Dutch are ‘rude’. Are they? Let’s discuss!
Entering a new culture can be very complex. Any cross-cultural interaction can stumble upon issues due to differences. The focus often lies on the differences, which leads to negative perceptions about the other and could result in a complete communication failure. It is important to be cross culturally aware and have the skills and tools to interact in cross cultural situations.
This workshop aims to achieve a deeper understanding of cultural diversity, culture shock, communication and some of the pitfalls of cross-cultural communication (e.g. stereotype/prejudice: the Dutch are ‘rude’. Are they? Let’s discuss!).
Overall, this interactive workshop will provide you with a deeper sense of cultural diversity, the tools to interact in cross-cultural situations and how this relates to Dutch society.
