University Library introduces GenAI e-module for lecturers

Generative AI is on the rise in education and offers new opportunities not just for students, but also for educators.

Since the introduction of ChatGPT in November 2022, Generative AI (GenAI) has made a significant impact on higher education. For teaching staff, it opens doors to more efficient course design, innovative assessment methods, and improved student support.

To help you make the most of these new tools, we now offer a dedicated e-module on the responsible use of GenAI in education. You'll explore the opportunities, limitations, and ethical questions around Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, and more.

By the end of the module, you'll be able to spot how GenAI is influencing your course design, rethink your assessments where needed, and help your students use GenAI tools thoughtfully and responsibly.
