As the content manager of the EUR, the Library supports students, researchers, lecturers and other Erasmian colleagues by enabling access to the right content and data:
- any time (24/7);
- anywhere (online, onsite, offsite);
- any how (licences, (physical) publications, platforms, tooling, workshops, work and study spaces).
Furthermore, the Library collects, preserves and presents all academic output from both the EUR and the Erasmus MC not only to further visibility of our academic research but also to ensure sustainable access to the research output.
Last but not least, the Library serves as the institutional memory by fostering not only academic heritage but also heritage of the city of Rotterdam.
The Library works from different locations and has four departments: Collections, Data- & Publication Support, Digital Resource and Educational Support.
