On Monday 2 September, the academic year officially kicked off with an opening program in the Laurens church. Minister Jet Bussemaker of Education, Culture and Science was the keynote speaker.  Apart from all regular research and teaching activities, Erasmus School of Economics and Erasmus University Rotterdam will be celebrating its 100th anniversary this year!

Throughout the 2013/2014 academic year, the School organises various activities to celebrate its 100 anniversary since establishment in 1913. The chosen theme, 100 YEARS OF IMPACT, reflects on impactful moments in the economy and society of the previous hundred years. The centennial programme offers many various activities accessible to all. Not only scientific activities but also sport and cultural activities are an important part of the programme.
