In honour of the 60th anniversary of the Econometric Institute (EI) and the 50th anniversary of FAECTOR (formerly Econometrisch Dispuut) at the Erasmus School of Economics, the EI and FAECTOR cordially invite you to a conference to celebrate the development of econometrics & operations research at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam.
The conference will be opened by prof. dr. Rinnooy Kan and will take place on the 27th of May 2016 and features both academic and career aspects. Researchers like Jan Groen (FED New York), prof. Peter Schotman (Maastricht University), prof. Hans Frenk (Sabanci) and others will discuss their current research. At the same time, several entrepreneurs have been invited to highlight the importance of econometrics in the modern day analysis of business projects.
To end the conference, there will be a festive dinner, held in the Erasmus Paviljoen.
