On Tuesday, April 12, two ERMeCC researchers will be guests at the monthly scientific talkshow Studio Erasmus. The content of this edition is composed specifically in light of the 75th anniversary of Rotterdam's reconstruction: "Rotterdam celebrates the city".
The subject of this Studio Erasmus edition will be the gabber as cultural heritage. Dr. Arno van der Hoeven will be speaking about the influence of hardcore on one's identity. Prof. dr. Koen van Eijck will elaborate on the question whether Rotterdam is into 'high culture' or not.
Other speakers are DJ Paul Elstak on the rise and fall of the hardcore phenomenon, Jan Danser on the invention of XTC, and Jaap de Vlieger on partydrugs.
