Emy Koopman awarded Graduate School Award for Multidisciplinary Excellence

During the mini-conference Professor Des Gasper (Development Studies, ISS) Assistant Professor Tonny Krijnen (Media and Communication), Associate Professor Maurien Sie (Philosophy) and Associate Professor Koen Stapelbroek (Public Administration) presented their insights in the field. The master class is an interactive event, consisting a combination of presentations, discussions and assignments. In the master class students work in groups towards presenting a draft research proposal. At this edition the winning proposal was presented by PhD students Emy Koopman (Media and Communication), Mark van Ostaijen (Public Administration) and Annemieke Romein (History), whom were awarded the 'DAME'; the Dean’s Award for Multidisciplinary Excellence.
