FAECTOR - October
The first weeks of the academic year have passed and we’re off to a flying start!
The first weeks of the academic year have passed and the exams are coming closer and closer. The year started off with lots of activities, such as the Landelijke Econometristen Sport Toernooi (LEST), the Opening Party and an inhouse day at Flow Traders. Next to all the activities, the new committees were formed. The freshly installed IntAct committee is already working hard to set up the first Active Members activity of the year.
Various introductory activities took place in September. The first year students enjoyed a nice dinner at De Beren, followed by a game of bowling. Afterwards, it was time for the Opening Drink at one of our favourite spots in Rotterdam: Café Concordia! The Bachelor-2 students learned to prepare different cocktails at The VIP Room and Master students got to make their very own sushi at the sushi workshop. Last but not least, the Pre-Master students had the opportunity to taste various wines at the wine tasting. During all these activities, everybody was able to bond with other students of their own year.
For the upcoming month, make sure to sign up for the Interfaculty Beer Tasting! It will take place on 17 October and everyone can taste 5 different beers. It is also good to know that there will be a big screen, on which the football match Feyenoord - Shakhtar Donetsk will be shown. You can sign up by clicking here.
Furthermore, a day of laser tag with Capgemini will take place on 10 October. You can get to know the company in an informal way by signing up here.
We wish you all the best with the upcoming exams! If you are in need of a study break, you can always walk by our office at H10-05 to grab a free cup of coffee. Once the exams are over, there will be an After Exam Drink and we hope to see you there!
