‘Best economics students of the Netherlands’
The National Economics Olympiad is an event that is organised by study association AEclipse. It took place on Friday 10 March 2023 at the headquarters of Rabobank in Utrecht. Participating teams from all over the country, competed for the title ‘best economics students of the Netherlands’.
The National Economics Olympiad 2023 set off to a great start with a welcome speech by Ester Barendregt, Chief economist at RaboResearch. It was followed with a challenging 3-hour exam with questions from various economics professors. Prof. Coen Teulings gave an inspiring keynote lecture, debating on how the traditional distinction between Monetarists and Keynesians does not apply to today's world.
