On Friday, October 6, 2023, IDEA Center (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Access Center) of Erasmus University Rotterdam presents the book Van woorden naar daden - een gids voor een inclusieve organisatie (From Words to Deeds - A Guide to an Inclusive Organization).
In the book, IDEA Center team members share their knowledge and experiences of an integrated approach that can help transform an organization into a more inclusive, diverse, equitable, accessible, and ultimately a more enjoyable organization for all.
With the book, the authors aim to inspire employers, employees and organizations in an accessible way. The book offers practical tools for designing, implementing and evaluating new or existing interventions and policies. The book is in Dutch, the authors are working on an English version.
The book will be presented during a festive meeting in Theater Zuidplein. The first copy will be handed to Rabin S. Baldewsingh, National Coordinator against Discrimination and Racism.
On stage during the programme: prof. dr. Annelien Bredenoord, rector magnificus EUR, prof. dr. Semiha Denktaş, Chief Diversity Officer EUR, Rabin S. Baldewsingh, National Coordinator against Discrimination and Racism, Mary Tupan-Wenno, executive director ECHO Expertisecentrum Diversiteitsbeleid, Imane Wijsman, a very musical EUR student and all team members of IDEA Center.
