Friday, March 8, marked International Women's Day. Several initiatives were shown from around the world to focus on women. For instance, Anne Boring, Associate Professor at Erasmus School of Economics, was invited to the French television show Public Senat and Radio France on that day.

Boring is Head of the Women in Business Chair, Sciences Po, Paris (LIEPP & PRESAGE). She can therefore be seen as an advocate for women. In the televisionshow of Public Senat, Boring discussed the position of women on the labour market. Pay inequality, less access to positions of responsibility, difficulties in setting up your company and sectors that are reserved for men, are still problems that women face nowaday when it comes to their work. In 2024 it is visible that women still have difficulty climbing the ladder and finding their place in the company. In the Radioshow of Radio France, Boring participates in a discussion on how government policy that get’s implemented to attack the indifferences on the workspace between men and women, should be seen.
