Dr. Jeff Handmaker and Ms. Diana Contreras, both affiliated with the GGSJ Research Group, are presenting papers at the first ever European Law and Development Research Conference in Ostende, Belgium.
The conference, which is co-sponsored by several universities throughout Europe, intends to document the scope of law and development research in Europe; to facilitate exchanges between scholars on relevant themes and to engage in an inquiry into whether ‘law and development’ should remain as a distinct area of research.
