ISS professor of international law and development Karin Arts was recently appointed as a new member of the Supervisory Board of UNICEF Nederland (UNICEF's National Committee in the Netherlands).
This new side-position is directly connected with Karin's academic work on e.g. the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, child rights-based approaches to development, and children's rights and climate change.Â
The appointment took effect as of 1 January 2017.
