Presentation Jeroen Temperman at European Court of Human Rights

The European Court of Human Rights, seated in Strasbourg, France, monitors the human rights situation in the 47 member states of the Council of Europe.

At a rare, direct intellectual exchange between judges of the European Court of Human Rights and human rights scholars, organized by the Vice-President of the Court judge Sajó, Jeroen Temperman presented on security and freedom of religion, on questions of hate speech, and on the subject of freedom of religion in prison. The presentation took place on 17 and 18 November.
