Recognition for IDEA Center's student ambassadors

Three students ambassadors of EUR's IDEA Center with their Edubadges in front of the fountain on campus Woudestein

IDEA Center proudly awarded Edubadges to the inspiring student ambassadors of their Academic Outreach Programme. Over the past years, these students have brought academic education into Rotterdam classrooms, delivering workshops to primary and secondary school pupils who don’t always see themselves reflected in academic communities. Through their teaching, they’ve helped make academic education more accessible, relatable, and inspiring.

What stood out during the award ceremony was the awareness they have developed: of their role as academic rolemodels, of the power of showing up with care, and of the impact they have, on future students, and beyond.

The Edubadge they received is more than a digital credential. It formally recognises their work in inclusive teaching, communication, and educational outreach.

To all our student ambassadors: thank you for your energy, commitment, and for being such thoughtful role models. Your presence matters and your impact reaches far beyond the university walls.
