UNIC Receives Grant Award from the A.A. van Beek Fund

This enables up to 400 students to go on exchange across UNIC in Europe

UNIC is honoured to receive €110,000 in a grant award from the A.A. van Beek Fund!

The alliance will be enabling up to 400 students (over a three year period) to go on exchange across our alliance in Europe, expanding horizons and forging new connections. These are students for whom “study abroad” may not have been possible without scholarship support, be it financial obstacles or care responsibilities at home. UNIC will offer and facilitate funded short-term exchanges, enabling first-generation and underrepresented students to gain valuable international experience, learning about the challenges of other cities and creating new knowledge: as professionals, researchers and citizens of Europe.

These initiatives will be rolled out in the coming months - more information on timelines and application procedures will be made available soon.

The A.A. van Beek Fund is a named fund within the Erasmus Trust Fund and is making this donation on the occasion of its 100th anniversary. You can learn more about the funds on their website, and more about the UNIC alliance here
