Dutch newspaper De Volkskrant recently published an interview with Professor Peter van Bergeijk on the implications of a severe pandemic in the Netherlands.
The interview was based on a research endeavour conducted in 2016 which he participated in.
In the interview Professor Van Bergeijk argues that the Netherlands can bear the costs of a pandemic as long as there is no panic.
