Yuri Peers en Michiel Slag winnen Innovation Challenge 2015

Yuri Peers and Michiel Slag, assistant professor and student at Erasmus School of Economics have won the Innovation Challenge 2015. During the annual Innovation Challenge, teacher-student teams submitted proposals for the incorporation of innovative ICT applications in order to encourage flexible, personalised education. The aim is to cater more effectively to students' individual learning needs.

The submission of Yuri and Michiel regards the use of ‘Mass-customized learning’ to focus on the individual learning process of the students, even during large scale lectures. With a digital book and webcasts students can shape their learning process. Group assignments coordinated with feedback ensure the application of the course.
