Biography

My main research focuses on ancient philosophy. I wrote a book on Stoic philosophy as it reacts and critical construct a new ontology, epistemology and philosophy of language in reaction to Plato. 

I work on Stoicism and Epicureanism as these schools of thought develop within the philosophical debate of antiquity across the Hellenistic period and into the Roman Republic and Empire. 

My fields of interest are logic, ontology, mind and language in antiquity and the weight of the ancient debates in the successive waves of reception across the centuries of ancient philosophy.
