Profile
Bex Hewett is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Organisation and Personnel Management of Rotterdam School of Management. Her research focuses on the interface between HR practices and people's everyday experiences at work and she is interested in how HR practices can enhance value for the organisation whilst benefiting the wellbeing of employees.
Bex teaches HR-related courses to executives, and students at all levels, and is Academic Director for the MSc HRM at RSM. She works with organisations to apply research to practice and manages the Erasmus Centre for HR Excellence.
Bex was awarded her PhD from Royal Holloway, University of London. Prior to this she worked for 10 years as an HR professional, finally as Head of HR Operations at Ofcom (the UK's communications regulator).
