Biography
Elliott Weder is a PhD Candidate at the Department of Economics as Erasmus University Rotterdam and affiliated with the Tinbergen Institute. He previously completed a bachelor’s degree with honours at the Australian National University and a research master’s degree at the Tinbergen Institute. His research interests include firm dynamics, labour economics, and macroeconomics. He uses a combination of empirical and structural methods to answer questions about firms’ relationships with their workers and other inputs to production. Currently, Elliott studies firms’ response to corporate tax reforms and how firms choose to hire and pay different types of employees.
