Biography
During the last years, I have been working in the field of Academic Education as well as neuroscience research. I am currently appointed as a Senior Lecturer at the Erasmus University College in Rotterdam, while beforehand I was appointed as a Lecturer at the international University Medical Center in Hamburg. My research interests include sleep, the circadian clock, animal models, consciousness as well as VR-systems.
My research during my PhD in Leiden University Medical Center in the Neurophysiology department focused on the areas of sleep and aging in mouse models. I've additionally obtained a Master's degree in Cognitive Neuroscience (Research Master) in Radboud University of Nijmegen with a specialization in Perception, action & control (2 years, 120 ECTS) as well as a Master's degree in Bioinformatics & Neuroinformatics (2 years, 90 ECTS). Previously, I have studied Pharmacy in Athens (5 years, 300 ECTS).
